The retiring Committee of UKIP Bath & North East Somerset Branch is pleased to invite qualifying members to join them at our 2018 Branch Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is an important event in the Branch calendar and it will be held on Tuesday 6th November at the New Inn, Bath Rd, Farmborough, Bath BA2 0EG. Doors open at 7:00 pm and the formal meeting will start at 7:15 pm.
As always, the formal purpose of the AGM is for Bath & North East Somerset UKIP members to meet together as a group and to elect the principal officers of the Branch, (Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary) and a new committee for the coming year. The current Chairman will give a report outlining the progress UKIP has made in Bath & North East Somerset over the past year and set out his thoughts for the future. The Branch Secretary, and Treasurer will also present their reports. Members will have an opportunity to raise questions and discuss other issues facing the party and our Branch in the months ahead.
A Licensed Bar will be available.
After the formal meeting, there will be an opportunity for members to socialise and for informal discussion.
To find the venue The New Inn is approximately one mile south of Marksbury on the A39. From Bath (A4) take the A39 through Corston to Marksbury then fork left towards Wells. From the A37 (coming from south) take the A39 at Hallatrow towards Marksbury. From the A37 (coming from north) take the A368 at Chelwood Bridge then turn right at traffic lights at Marksbury on to the A39 towards Wells. Travel by public transport not recommended.
We ask for a small minimum donation of £1 per attendee, which goes towards paying for our local campaign materials and other essentials.
